Red Dress, White Button Down, Black Blazer, Tweed Skirt, Flats, Heels: Christian Louboutin
As I've finally approached the beginning of my senior year in college (YAY!!!) I've definitely learned a thing or two about how companies expect you to dress when you land an internship/job. I honestly believe your outfit says ALOT about you, whether you intend it to or not. These essentials are also of course perfect for interviews which is the most important step in the process of landing a job/internship since it is the first impression that you will make to the company.
Tweed, A-line skirts are a perfect choice because they will literally go with everything in your closet and instantly make you feel business savvy. A watch is also a must since most companies have very strict phone policies in the office. I actually own this nude ASOS chain purse and have worn it to almost every interview I've ever had and continue to receive so compliments on it. You definitely don't want the added stress of having to carry around a huge purse so this alternative is a great option. A white button down is the most basic of all basics for work-wear 101 and can easily be jazzed up if you want to go out for drinks or a get together after work.
When it comes to the shoes I personally think it is best to keep things simple yet classy with a nude/black pump or flat. The last essential I chose is a structured black blazer that will instantly pull your complete look together.
